A fire drill…

…or maybe not? But one thing is clear, Miley Cyrus wants us to “wake up”!

Miley Cyrus starts to sing about the earth as it is a woman, but you do not know this before the next verse. This create some excitement. How can a woman be the earth? You want to hear more.

The song is about the earth and global warming. People can’t just throw away rubbish and things like that. Miley Cyrus is concerned about the world and the people around her. She means that people must take some responsibility and take care of the earth.

Miley Cyrus wants  people to “wake up”. That means that she wants people to vigilant and alert. She feels that you need to see how people destroys the earth. Miley wants people to pay ”attention” to the earth and people around. And Miley says that “everybody matters” she cares about all the people in the world. Miley asks if we can take “care of her and spare her”. Miley means that people give more consideration to the enviroment around them.

LYRICS:
Oh, can you take care of her?
Oh, maybe you can spare her
Several moments of your consideration
Leading up to the final destination

Oh, the earth is callin’ out
I wanna learn what it’s all about but
Everything I read is global warming, going green
I don’t know what all this means
but It seems to be saying

Wake up America
We’re all in this together
It’s our home
So let’s take care of it
You know that you want to
You know that you got to Wake up America
Tomorrow becomes a new day
And everything you do matters
Yeah, everything you do
Matters in some way

Stand up, I’ll try if you will
Wake up, it’s not a fire drill
All she needs is a little attention
Can you give her just a little attention?

Oh, it’s easy to look away
But it’s getting harder day by day
Everything I read is global warming, going green
I don’t know what all this means but
It seems to be saying Come on

(course)

I know that you don’t wanna hear it
Especially comin’ from someone
So young But in the backseat
Yeah, they wanna hear it (they wanna hear it)
So come on (turn it up)
Come on (turn it up)
So come on (turn it up
Wake up America (wake up)
We’re all in this together
It’s our home (it’s our home)
So let’s take care of it
You know that you want to
You know that you got to
